"Setting up Displays before the Exhibit. Thanks to
Dina, Jack, Jacks Assistant, Doris, Manny Phil, William, Dawn and her
husband.
William carried in all the heavy banquet tables loaned
by Vero Beach Inn Resort and set them up. Early the next day we spent
around 7 hours setting everything up. By the time everything got rolling
and aired out we were already tired as you can see in the next photo.

After suffering through two major hurricanes, Vero Beach
citizens put their worries aside, dressed in their finest and came to Longevity
Spa and Fitness Club for our very first Exhibit and a first Longevity
Christmas Party.
Things were fairly quiet till about 6:00 PM then....
Christian FM's Bruce Douglas parked in front of
Longevity and started his broadcast and invited people in. What a man!
Standing out in the cold for three hours Bruce Douglas experienced himself what
the Homeless Children in Ukraine must face every day. Being inside I could
not hear what he was saying but whatever he was saying brought hundreds of
people through the door. Thank you Bruce Douglas and Christian FM for
sincere dedication in helping us with our goal and letting people know what's
really going on in the world.
You would not believe how many people came! They were
dressed so nice and everyone looked beautiful. The line for Food, Wine,
Hor; Adeurves' and drinks at the Champagne fountain went the entire length
of the inside and around the corner. An estimate of anywhere from 200-400
people had come and gone. Everyone enjoyed themselves tremendously.
The Talley's entertained everyone on the Grand Piano and Bass Guitar and Wow!
What a voice and what a terrific talent they are. Wish I could have been
there longer to enjoy their music but Artificially Scented Candles make me sick
if I am in the room too long with them so that room was pretty much off limits
to me.
At 6:30 PM Channel 10 News showed up and interviewed
Dina Niedelman, Jack Brandt, Dawn Orre with Tropic Frame, myself and
Longevity Fitness club owners Bonnie and Steve Pfiester. Every single
artist was introduced to "Channel 10 News" and Arlee Master Jeweler was
introduced last since this Exhibit was all about helping "Our Ray", Arlee and
Ukraine's Homeless Children.
Best dressed man of the evening Eric Farley bought an original
Jack Brandt Oil Painting and not much later a Beautiful Woman who I later found
out and regret I did not get a picture of was Lisa Rhymer on CNN Comcast News.
Channel 10 News showed Teri Davis's Cameo's and an
Interview with Dina Niedelman.
Jack Brandt was the biggest seller and fundraiser for Ukraines
Homeless Children. He sold two original works of Art for $225.00 in no
time at all. (No Fees involved for Artists who must travel to an Exhibit)
Jack's Contribution to Ukraines Homeless Children comes in at $22.50 which
will be sent shortly . Thank you Jack!
The Labine's dropped in while I was gone searching for
unscented candles but left in the care of Jack's Assistant a kind donation of
$20.00 Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Labine. That money will be sent to
the Ukraine as well.
Prior to the event Jason Voos sold 3 T-shirts totaling
$60.00 and contributed $6.00 towards Ukraines Homeless Children.
Other Purchases made by Vero Beach's Finest Citizens include
three pairs of earrings from Teri Davis in "Crazy Style". (Two
pair sold prior to the event) A butterfly
drawing by Dina Niedelman. (No fees for Artists who travel) A German
Christmas Tree Ornament from Beth Walloch and a Zipper Pull from Rocket Girl.
When the Volunteers could not come Jack and Dina in their
wheelchairs helped me set up the displays of more than 10 Artists and 2
Inventors. Nick, who is Jacks assistant helped out too and opened bottles
of Black Swan Wine for our well heeled guest's as well as his regular job.
For our guests there were Belgian Chocolates, Oranges for support of
Ukraine and Victor Yushenko, a beautiful platter from Vero Beach Inn Resort and
another compliments of Mrs. Schlitt with other good things to eat and drink for
our honored guests.
Thank you Vero Beach for Supporting Disability Arts and coming
to our Exhibit and helping Ukraine's Homeless Children and "Our Ray".
Thank you Disabled Artists for your kind hearts
and help for Ukraine.
